Joey Blake is a former world‑ranked professional tennis player and a leading authority in junior player development. A standout of the 1980s junior circuit, Blake won the U.S. Open Junior Doubles Championship and was a singles finalist. He earned a full scholarship to the University of Arkansas, where he made history as the first freshman since John McEnroe to win the NCAA National Indoor singles title. In 1986 he was ranked No. 1 in the NCAA Division I national rankings and was named an NCAA All‑American. After competing on the professional men’s tour, Blake transitioned into coaching and has become one of the most respected high‑performance junior coaches in the world. Over his coaching career he has mentored eight No. 1 U.S. juniors and has guided Grand Slam and NCAA champions as well as Olympians. His players have collectively secured more than $5 million in collegiate scholarships to top universities. Blake has founded and operated several highly successful player development programs built around individualized tennis plans and a life‑first approach to athlete growth. He consults, mentors, and teaches his proven tennis philosophy internationally and frequently appears as a guest speaker and clinician for coaches, players, and tennis organizations.
